How we score.

Each requirement gets a level from 0 to 3. A higher level means the law asks more of an organization. We score from the statute, its regulations and the regulator's guidance, and cite the section on every cell. Where we could not read an official source we use reputable legal guides and say so on the cell.

A gap means the law you need to meet scores higher than yours on a requirement. A score is our reading of the law, not legal advice. Laws change, and so do our scores: each cell shows the date it was last checked. If you think a score is wrong, tell us with the section you rely on; correspondents and members review challenges.
